The slippers are very well made and comfortable. The problem is the sizing. I wear an 8.5 and so I ordered the 8-9 slipper. It was a tight fit. I made the mistake of wearing them that day hoping they would stretch. They did not. The return policy states they can only be returned if in original condition, ie unworn, so I was not able to return them. I ordered another pair in the next size up- 9.5-10.5. They fit well even though they are 2 sizes too big. I would strongly suggest that you order at least one size up if you purchase this slipper.

The quality of these slippers is outstanding. The sole is nice rubber with good grip. The safety factor alone makes them worth the price. The tops are thick soft terry cloth, and the adjustable strap keeps them snug on your feet. I know several people (who shall remain nameless) who wear the black ones to go shopping!

I bought these shoes about a week ago from my local studio and i fell in love with them just by looking at them. They look really small and shriveled up but they are very stretchy for a leather shoe. they run a bit small I had to get a size 7 when i wear a 6 1/2 street shoe. I have narrow tapered feet and these shoes fit like a glove, they are great! I recommend them to anyone who wants a shoe that hugs your foot, they work best with narrow feet though let me just say!

The shoes fit wonderfully and felt great on but I wore them for the first time ever, and during the dance where the leather meets the under padding ripped causing a large hole. The company says they are man made but the quality of them is very poor.

I first bought these pressed wool slippers at least 10 years ago. Since, they have been in a rotation for my three daughters, one of their husbands and my significant other. I had a pair several years ago, and didn't replace them. But my husband needed new ones and so we each got a pair--now I remember why I liked them so much-really, really comfy, the little rubber dots on the soles keep me from sliding on my wood floors, they breathe since they're a natural material (so my feet don't sweat), and they last a long time. Worth every penny, and the amazon.com vendor I bought them from had a great price! These make a wonderful gift for someone who has everything. :-) I might really indulge someday and get a pair with rubber soles so I can wear them outside to get the newspaper.

I love these slippers. I first found them when suffering from plantar facieitis (sp?) and was told going barefoot was not good for me. These offer the arch support that I need. I have worn no other slipper since then, and all of my family wear them also. Even though I cannot wear wool, the slippers do not seem to bother me. The one with the rubber bottoms are sturdy enough to wear outside with the dog, or to get the paper. I won't be without them.
